Ebony Lodge

Singita Ebony Lodge is set on the banks of the Sand River, offering a fresh and modern interpretation of the classic safari. The lodge combines the curved lines inspired by the Adobe architecture of North and West Africa with the utilitarian feel of a luxury tented camp while maintaining the rustic essence of its origin story. Ebony is an exciting mix of past and present - interiors feature gentle colours inspired by nature, such as indigo, ecru and ochre - while fold-up safari-style furniture is matched beautifully with antiques and heirlooms. African art, sourced from local artisans, pays a warm tribute to the creativity of the continent. The Conservation Room is at the heart of the main lodge, a consciously curated space showcasing fascinating artefacts where guests can explore the living heritage of the region.
